About The Role

We are currently seeking to hire a Product Manager - Digital platforms to join our dynamic team that will lead the development of cutting-edge digital solutions that power the future of energy. This will be a great opportunity for an ambitious product manager within digital platforms/software architect to shape the types of digital services used in the energy market in the future.

As a Product Manager, you will be a key person within our Research & Development organization. You will have the responsibility for our digital platforms, define, groom, and prioritize backlogs, own and maintain the requirement specifications for our digital offerings, as well as follow and communicate legal and regulatory requirements and translate those into product requirements. You will also act as a technical specialist (both internally and externally), perform business case analyses, and administer our website.

You will report to the CTO of the company, Henrik Lundgren. He has a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Lithium-ion Batteries with extensive experience in battery development both in the automotive industry and the stationary energy storage industry. Henrik bikes to work during all seasons of the year and enjoys food and hiking in his free time.

Work assignments

• Responsibility to maintain and grow the digital solutions strategy together with both external and internal stakeholder
• Drive, define, refine, and redefine the product solutions and services
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver exceptional products
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs
• Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage digital product portfolio
• Define, groom, and prioritize backlogs
• Manage company website together with Marketing team
• Translate digital product strategy into product requirements
• Support customers with product expertise
• Follow up and define legal and regulatory requirements
• Supplier management
• Business case analysis

Skills and Qualifications

As we are building up a team to drive our development, having good collaboration skills will be a success factor. Personal integrity and the ability to work independently and proactively will also be important to solving the tasks we face.
We are looking for you with a minimum experience of 5 years in engineering roles, other relevant experience can compensate for this.

• Strong knowledge of managing complex product portfolios
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Experience in leading roles within software development
• Previous experience in coding .net/c#/javascript/typescript
• Previous experience at an aggregator or energy management system supplier
• Previous experience in requirements management/systems engineering
  
• Previous experience in a customer facing/commercial role
• Previous experience in battery energy storage systems is plus
• Specific knowledge of the global energy market and regional differences
• You must have good written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in other Nordic languages is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• M.Sc. in Computer Science/Data engineering or equivalent
