This isn’t just a corporate marketing role. It is a pivotal leadership position designed for a "fast runner", someone who can oscillate between high-level strategy and hands-on execution to build visibility, trust, and sustainable growth from the ground up.
The Role
As the Head of Communication & Marketing, you will own the end-to-end marketing and communications strategy. You will be a strategic enabler for our commercial growth, ensuring that our brand narrative, PR, and demand generation efforts are perfectly aligned with our sales and product initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Strategy: Develop and execute a world-class brand strategy that differentiates Capture Energy as a trusted leader in the European energy sector.
Commercial Growth: Partner closely with Sales to drive data-driven marketing, leveraging CRM tools and automation to generate high-quality leads and optimize conversion.
Communications & PR: Lead all external messaging, media relations, and crisis management, ensuring our mission of sustainability is at the heart of every story.
Thought Leadership: Position our executive team as key voices in industry debates, conferences, and global forums.
Leadership & Scale: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing European marketing organization. You will be responsible for recruitment, professional development, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
The Marketing Ecosystem
You will oversee a multi-disciplinary function, including:
Strategic & Product Marketing: Translating technical innovation into commercial value.
Digital & Content: Crafting consistent, engaging storytelling across all platforms.
Events & Institutional: Building credibility through industry-leading presence.
Partner & Channel Marketing: Supporting our indirect channels and marketplaces.
Market Intelligence: Using analytics to guide our expansion strategy.

Capture Energy is a Nordic-based company with offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Fredrikstad, Luleå, and Odense. Our team consists of experienced professionals from renewable energy and flexibility services backgrounds.
Our distributed Nordic team meet in person at least once every quarter at different locations. Some of us enjoy group morning runs before the meetings. We value mutual support and seek individuals who are humble, positive, and can turn challenges into opportunities.
While we are a distributed team with a big part of our work being done through digital platforms, we value on-site collaboration and we expect you to be in our offices during the majority of your working time.
